Hinman CEOs

The Hinman CEOs program is a dynamic, award-winning, living-learning program that helps students start their own companies. Made possible by a gift from Maryland alumnus and serial entrepreneur Brian Hinman, CEOs creates a vibrant environment where ideas flourish, along with a sophisticated infrastructure that supports growing those ideas into successful business ventures.

State-of-the-art technology in an incubator-like setting enables the free flow of ideas among the CEOs as well as easy interaction with experts out-side of the university.  Seminars by experts in company formation and by successful entrepreneurs educate and inspire the CEOs. Mentoring is provided by experts in business, legal, technology and other fields important to entrepreneurs. Linkages are created between Hinman CEOs and people seeking teaming opportunities with talented students, including partnerships with university faculty and industry technologists.
