Military Alliances Maryland’s Military Installations and Federal Facilities are supported by a number of alliances comprised of base personnel, local businesses, elected officials, economic development partners and interested individuals that serve to facilitate and support the initiatives of the installations or facilities. Involvement in an alliance provides an avenue to the latest information on the installation or facility, an understanding of the interrelated Federal, State and local legislative process affecting the installation or facility and business development and contracting opportunities.
